  • VOLUNTEERS:  Volunteers must be cleared each school year.  This year, the district is introducing an all-online system for volunteer clearance.  Individuals interested in volunteering in Sequim Schools may begin an online volunteer application process for the 2016-17 school year at  The online application process requires an e-mail address and provides step-by-step assistance.  A current Washington State driver's license or state ID card is required in order to run a background check. Please complete your application at least two weeks prior to the date you wish to begin volunteering to allow for the clearance process.

Sequim Middle School News and Features


  • SMS Office will open on August 21st.


    TimberWolf Days August 22nd grades 6-8 with last names A-K and August 23rd for last names L-Z.Come anytime between 2:30-6:30 to pick up your schedule, pick up or order your Timberwolf sweatshirt, rent a band instrument, put money on your lunch account, get needed immunizations, pay for PE uniform, yearbook or band shirt.


    August 23rd New Family Orientation 6:00 p.m. If this is your first year at SMS come find out all the things that make our school great and get answers to any questions you may have.
