• Community Needs Assessment 2017 (CNA)

A message from Dr. Ann Renker, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning:

Research and best practice identify community input as a key component in improving student outcomes.  In order to access community input during the budgeting and planning process for next year, the district gathered data during a window from November 14 to December 12, 2016.  This is the second consecutive CNA conducted by the Sequim School District.  The survey instrument maintained questions and methodology from the 2016 CNA as much as possible so trend data could emerge.  The largest change in the 2017 CNA was shifting all questions which could be answered by all respondents to the initial section of the CNA, and grouping all questions for households with children enrolled in the Sequim School District for the second part of the survey.  The tabulated data is presented here. Many thanks to all the people who took the time to participate in the survey.
