• September 25th is the deadline for official transcripts and credit approval forms for salary schedule movement for certificated staff.

     

    If you expect to move on the salary schedule, you must have forwarded to Karen Sande in personnel the following documents no later than September 25th:

     

    1.      Official Transcript from sponsoring provider supporting the completion of courses reported on credit approval form. 

     

    An official transcript request through our local ESD 114 is made once a year at the end of August.  If you have properly registered and paid for clock hours through our local ESD 114 by July 31st, you will not need to request an ESD 114 transcript.  If you file clock hours or credits too late for the August run but before the September 25th deadline, you will be responsible to order an ESD 114 transcript.  All transcripts from other ESDs or colleges must be ordered by you.  All transcripts ordered must be “official” and should be sent direct to:

    The process:  As credit approval forms are completed and forwarded to personnel, they are approved, alphabetized and filed in a pending file.  Official transcripts received are matched to the corresponding credit approval form and also placed in the pending file.  These are collected throughout the school year. 

     

    After the September 25th deadline, every clock hour or credit that is supported by a credit approval form and official transcript is added to your record.   If the extra credits or clock hours allow an advance to the next step on the leap schedule, an amendment is made to your annual contract, your base contract and TRI contracts are adjusted in pay, and any retro pay to the start of the school year is paid in October.

     

    Keep in mind that even without a salary advancement, reporting clock hours and credits should be an annual exercise.  This information is useful in many ways to our district and affects our annual S275 and annual RIF list.  It is important to report credits and clock hours as they are earned.
