    Picture Retake Day is November 4th:
    Pictures packets and proofs went home with students Monday, October 17th.
    • If you ordered pictures and do not receive a package, contact Lifetouch @ 866-955-8342.
    • If you want retakes, send the original package back with your child on retake day.
    • If your child missed the first picture day they can have a picture taken on retake day.  Send them with completed picture envelope & payment.
    • Envelopes are available in the office.  Make checks payable to Lifetouch.  Office does not have change or accept debit/credit cards.
    • If you didn't purchase pictures, you can order from the proof that came home with your child on 10/17 by following the instructions on the proof.  Or, you can have your child's picture taken again & send payment as noted above.
    • Class pictures will arrive later.

  • VOLUNTEERS:  Volunteers must be cleared each school year.  This year, the district is introducing an all-online system for volunteer clearance.  Individuals interested in volunteering in Sequim Schools may begin an online volunteer application process for the 2016-17 school year at https://sequimvolunteers.hrmplus.net/.  The online application process requires an e-mail address and provides step-by-step assistance.  A current Washington State driver's license or state ID card is required in order to run a background check. Please complete your application at least two weeks prior to the date you wish to begin volunteering to allow for the clearance process.

  • HiCap Program Nominations:  The SSD announces an open referral process through November 30, 2016 for students currently in K-12th grade who may qualify for Highly Capable (HiCap) Program services.  Anyone from the community may refer students.  This includes teachers, parents, staff, members of the community, etc.  Nomination forms are available at each school, the District Office, and at the Sequim Public Library.  You can also access referral forms online at the district website (click on Highly Capable under the Programs tab), and are due by November 30th All referrals must be returned to the HiCap Coordinator at Sequim Middle School or the Haller Office.  If you have any questions concerning HiCap services, please contact Robin Forrest, HiCap Program Coordinator/Teacher, at 360-582-3561 or rforrest@sequim.k12.wa.us.

    You can register online, check to see if you are already registered or update your address at:
    http://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/myvote/ or pick up a registration form at any school office.  The post office will not forward ballots.
