  • Friday, Oct 24th ~ Pink Day

Are you cool enough to wear Pink?  Our ASB annually hosts a great fundraiser that is donated to Operation Uplift.  This is a local organization that helps to offset the costs for men and women that have to travel to Seattle for cancer treatments.  Starting Monday, Oct. 20th we will be selling Pink Timberwolf T-Shirts for $5.00.  They will be sold during lunches only and are to be worn on Friday, Oct 24th.  The money collected will be donated to Operation Uplift.

  • OCTOBER 31ST: STUDENT LED CONFERENCES

We will not have a regular school day on October 31st. Students will only come to school to present their conference to their parent or guardian.

Each student led conference will take 20 minutes. Your child should have contacted you in their Wolfpack to schedule a time that works for both of you to attend together. Please come to the conferences early so we can maintain the schedule. If you have any questions call us at 582-3500.

What's the Role of the Parent in Student-Led Conferences?

We believe that student-led conferences are an important experience for all students and strongly encourage all parents to participate. Your role is critical to the success of the conference.

Your first role is as a listener. Having a parent audience for learning gives students a powerful reason to learn and work hard.

Your second role as a parent is to talk with the student about the work that will be presented. You will gain a better understanding of the academic expectations set for your child.

    •     Your third role as a parent is to identify ways you can support the student to achieve goals that will be set for the rest of the grading period.

We look forward to seeing you at the conferences!
